Hi, I'm looking to get a laptop with 6770m graphics card. 6770m 2gb costs $50 more than the 1gb version. The laptop has 1920x1080p screen. I was wondering if it is worth the $50 upgrade. I know that 2gb doesn't really matter much
unless it's over 1920x1080p for desktops, but, I'm not certain if that applies to laptops since mobile graphics cards
are really not that great so extra video ram could help bit more. Thanks.

& Are HP laptops good? Some of the laptops I have seen from others are really loud. Some of them even returned it because it was so loud. Does this apply to every laptop for HP? If not, what causes that problem?

6770m will run out of processing power before 1GB is not enough so the second GB for $50 would be a ripoff!

Thanks for the reply.
However, I quite didn't get what you are saying here. What do you mean that "6770m will run out of processing power before 1GB is not enough?" Do you mean that the graphics card wouldn't be able to utilize the extra video ram because of lack of processing power?

Yes that is pretty much what I am saying.
Performance of GPU is based on processing power and to day 1GB is plenty for even much more powerful GPU's to display on 1080P resolution.

Just a quick question.

How about for future proof? I'll be using this laptop for at least 3 years.
