Hello to all the community, i bought this video card and i checked its review on msi.com and noticed that needs 6pin connector and 12v 24amp+ output from PSU... i have this PSU: cooler master rs-500-pcar... and in the box label it says it works with 12v 18amp.. i havent tested it but it moves my XFX radeon 5770 1gb ddr5 without issues. 24 amp 12v rails psu's i've seen are a little bit more expensive so what would you tell me as advice? Will mine work? I've read that 12v 18 amp outputs can be plugged into a connector for the 6 pin in the video card.

i understand psu's matter isnt that much simple, with all those stuff about real watts and different kinds of psus, please guide me and explain it a little bit lesser complex ive seen on the web. :hello: i dont overclock btw.

Solution
24amps is the total (combined) + 12 volt rail out put on the required PSU! Your CM has 360watts or 30amps available and should work just fine for the card.
