Well, it's a DVD drive.

Great case for the price. It's nice and roomy for a mid tower, but even on a $1000 budget you might be able to afford a full tower in the $130 range.

Swap this for a Samsung F3 500GB or 1TB. They're cheaper, faster, and just as reliable as WD's drives.

First off...
No real problems. The only potential thing I see is that the case you chose doesn't have USB 3 at the front of the case (and I'm not sure if your MB offers that option anyway) in case you want that.

Edit: Just checked. The MB DOES have connectors for USB 3 at the front of the case, but the case does not. You might want to look at the Cooler Master Storm Enforcer instead - Just a thought.

First off, that's the 560, not the 560Ti. Secondly, get a 580 instead of a SLI setup. You can't upgrade the SLI setup without scrapping the original GPUs, and the 580 is the champ @ 1920x1080, so you'll have no problems with basically any game out there on max settings.

Depending on which GPU you end up with, you may need to change this. 2x580s will require about 900W for an efficient system.

You're better off buying a paired kit. Sometimes the single sticks don't pair well with other sticks of the exact same type (even though they're supposed to).

Good board for the money. Another good and inexpensive choice is the ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 (~$130).

Kind of an obvious choice in this instance.

Can one of you please explain to me what the Ti version of the 560 is? The 580 is way to expensive compared to the 380 im spending on the SLI. Also that mobo that you told me about has PCI Express 3.0 x16. Can the 560 that has PCI Express 2.0 x16 run on that? If the 560 SLI solution can't run BF3 on high-max is there a SLI solution that will? Keeping within 400 dollars.

This board down below has the new PCI-E 3.0 slots for the new generation vid cards due out whenever. It just hit the shelves a few days ago. btw if you notice on newegg...the one bad review the moron purchased a cpu that doesn't o/c (non "K" cpu)

according to nvidia 560 ti runs bfbc2 at an average of 45 fps 1920x1200 and according to rumors bout bf3 ull prolly have like 38 fps at 1920x1200 with a single 560ti so 2x560 ti in my opinion can give u what u want and even more as for the guy up there who said that 580 cant run bf3 at max settings yes it can at like 68 fps 1920x1200 the trailers r made with that card not sure tho as i was sayin this is only based on the nvidia tests and the expected bf3 settings they said that bf3 might have similar sys requirments to bfbc2 cos the frostbite 2.0 is highly optimized not cos it has kick ass graphics then it means u need an expensive card 4 it i got a gtx 560 non ti and im pretty sure ill run bf3 at max on a bit low res tho maybe 1600x900 with like 30 to 34 fps average

Not sure if srs

Comparing BC2 to BF3 is like comparing CoD 4 to Metro 2033 lol.

if anything you should use BF2 as a comparison, look how they did it when that game released.

About 95% of the BF2 gamers that bought it when it released couldn't go near to maxing their game out graphics wise.

Sure you can play BF3 at high settings if you mean BF3 alpha trial.
battlefield 3 is expected 2 have a bit similar requirments to battlefield bad company 2
and u wont imagine what graphics card some ppl use for the alpha trial its not like how every1 expects it 2 be ppl r highly rating and saying bullshit bout sys requirments what makes it so good is not the graphics itself its cos it has a new level of fps realisim so the movements r realistic and some kick ass physics it still has awesome graphics yes but its normal to a game like this 1 what i mean is without the fps and physics this game would be like any other version of bf or cod when they were released im not sure bout sys requirments but im sure its alot less then alot of ppl r expecting

im talkin bout bfbc 2 here they r sayin it will have kind of similar requirments so ppl r just overrating it it wont need this massive power ppl r expecting the gtx 460 to be the least for the maxed settings i would say it would run the game at 1600x900 or around that at like 32 fps average to make this more clear BF3 IS NOT A NEW GENERATION OF GRAPHICS AND ALL THIS *** it wont need extra high requirments

If you expect to see mass desctructability from large scales with all of the other perks as well we can already see from that alone that it will need extra high requirements to hit the extra high functionality at a playable first person shooter fps range and still have proper hit registry.

thats not what im expecting im expecting average of 30 to 35 fps with my gtx 560 non ti 1920x1080 or even more and since i had a geforce 6200 with a 1994 monitor in my previous pc im used 2 low fps
