Canvas is a computer art program by Deneba.

canvas is a heavy closely woven fabric.

A discussion of do it yourself canvas printing is at:

There are companies that specialize in printing on canvas. Some are:

Epson makes "PremierArt Water Resistant Canvas" for several of its
pigment printers and it works very well, with a slightly white finish,
true canvas texture, and accurate ICC profiles. Does a real nice job.
I think you need at least a 13" wide printer to use it though.

Two options. One is canvas textured printing paper. It is available.

If you want to print on REAL canvas, you can use those iron-on transfer
papers and iron the image onto a fabric.

On the same note has anyone tried running some canvas through an HP 9650?
It has a rear feed and takes up to 13" wide paper. I was wondering if I
could just feed some canvass through the back? Or if anyone has treid
printing onto canvas with another injet.

I haven't done it myself, but I have used a lab who printed a number of
frames on canvas for me.
They are 3ft x 2ft, have been properly stretched and look absolutely superb.

I have used the T-shirt transfers to get a print onto timber, was very
successful, had to play around a little with the irons heat setting though.

I print to canvas all the time with a HP printer. HP sell a fine weave
canvas in rolls which prints just like on paper. It seems to work OK with
dye inks too. I spray my prints with varnish so hopefully, they will last a
while.

Hello, my friend a very interesting and very popular way of art expression is canvas print. Canvas prints are the result of images printed onto canvas which is stretched, or gallery - wrapped, onto a frame and displayed. Canvas print is cheap and available fine piece of art in modern art technology. With the digital era of photography, we have access to canvas photo prints. I have a good experience of canvas prints with Magnipic, it is an online photos on canvas printing service and it also specializes in enlarging and printing photos on it. In order to preserve the original photo's quality and ensure best results, it is necessary to enlarge photo to canvas with special software and monitoring tools. At Magnipic.com they use state of the art software and printing equipment that utilize digital data in order to improve the photo's resolution. You can visit the Magnipic.com site to see for yourself.
