SLI with 570 is not a problem for that PSU. 580 is much power hungry and for a SLI with 580 you will need something bigger i think.

this is a PSU wattage calculator.

Thanks for the calculator, if this thing is accurate then I only need 600w for the whole thing (Including that I OC to 4.7 @ 1.35v), I'll have 250w headroom. Do you think this rig will hold for a long time?

a c 1218 ) Power supply

For a system running with two GeForce GTX 580 in two-way SLI mode NVIDIA states that the power supply should have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 62 Amps or greater and with at least two 6-pin and two 8-pin PCI-Express Supplementary Power Connectors.

The Corsair Professional Series HX850 (CMPSU-850HX), with its +12 Volt continuous current rating of 70 Amps and with its six 6+2-pin PCI-Express Supplementary Power Connectors is sufficient.

It's not the power supply's total wattage that matters. The only power supply specification that determines whether or not it will properly power your system is its +12 Volt continuous current rating.
