Hi, I have a 19" widescreen monitor (LG Flatron L194WT- SF) which can support DVI-D cable. My graphics card is a ASUS HD 6850. Will I get any better picture quality through a DVI-D cable or should I just stick to a VGA cable?

Generally the picture quality is a bit sharper for DVI, but a 19" monitor is most likely 1400x900 resolution in which case the DVI isn't necessary.

Your right it is 1400x900 resolution. It came with a VGA cable and i was just wondering if it was better to buy a DVI-D. The consensus seems to be that it isn't neccessary. I guess I'll stick to the VGA cable then
