Nvidia 8400gs or Nvidia 210 or Ati Radeon HD 4350

Hi all..........I have a computer which has following specifications;

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz
2512Mb of Ram (2Gb + 512mb)
Intel D945GCNL Motherboard
500Gb Hard disk SATA (Maxtor)
Mercury 300watt PSU with 15amps at 12V rail
On board graphics
Windows 7pro

Very recently my Graphic Card which is a Nvidea Geforce 6600LLE was burned out. So currently I'm using on board graphics. But now I'm thinking of buying a new graphic
card. The main problem I think is low level PSU which has 300W and 15amps in 12V rail. Since my computer is out of date I have no any intention of adding new hardware other than the VGA card. Due to some financial difficulties I'm unable to buy a new computer where I want just to operate with existing computer until I buy a new one. I'm not hardcore gamer but like to play some games with minimum detail. I watch movies in the computer. So I just want to enhance graphics of my computer from current horrible level. :cry: ............My options for VGA cards are;

Nvidea Geforce 210 1Gb DDR3.......http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=01G-P3-1313-KR&family=GeForce

Nvidea Gerforce 8400gs 512mb ....http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N8400GS-D512H.html
...http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=512-P3-1301-KR&family=GeForce%208%20Series%20Family&sw=

Ati Radeon HD 4350 512mb DDR2....http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?leg=&psn=000101&pid=210
.....http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/AMD_Series/EAH4350_SILENTDI1GD2/

These are the possible graphic cards I can easily find in a local town. The main issue I'm considering here is the lowest power draw. Please help me..... :D

More about nvidia 8400gs nvidia radeon 4350
  1. whats's the size of your moniter..
  2. Since you'll not be playing games, get any one of them which is the cheapest.
  3. my monitor is a Samsung Ex2020 a 20" one. Will any of this graphic card will work under 300W, 15amps on 12V rail????
  4. Don't go with 8400gs that's damn old card to buy now. Ati 4350 is just a bit faster compared with gt210 . Going with gt 210 would be a smart choice
    go with gt210 1gb ddr3 this card can take advantage of cuda .

  7. Hey by the way.........I found out that Radeon HD 5450 is better card with lowest possible power consumption...(about 19watts)..Can anyone recommend that card for me??? Because Ati recommend a 400watt PSU for it. But external reviews says that it consume less power than radeon HD 4350 which requires 300watt PSU.

    5450 should run OK, that PSU sounds like a cheap one though, I'm sure it's not actually producing anywhere near 300 watts. Just don't install any more hard-drives or optical drives in the system with the card, you should be fine.
  9. Tdp of 5450 on maximum load is 18watt &8 watt on ideal mode . Compared with gt210 maximum load tdp 31 watts. This shows power usage of current cards.

    5450 runs cooler compared with gt210 .5450 will run just fine in ur system.
  10. Thanx all of u for helping me............I'm gonna buy HD5450. It is about $45 in SL.
