Comparison between core i3 and dual core

kindly tell me which one is better in performance in core i3, dual core and celeron

I3 is dual core. Without knowing what exact CPU's you are comparing this is my guess I3>pentium dual core>celeron

intel core i3 2nd generation is made by of 32nm process that is it can deliver more performance per watt and can give more performance than other duel core and celeron

so simply i3 is better
