Hello,
I have been running my 2600K on WC for a few months and have noticed that the lowest temperature it ever gets to is 24 degrees Celsius, but normally when I am surfing the web or doing word processor the temps are in the mid 30s, and when i'm gaming the temps are in the low 50s. When running prime 95 it gets up to 60 degrees celsius. Many reviews say that the 2600K only reaches 50 degrees on air, so is there something wrong with my chip? I have not OCed it yet but am planning to soon.

That is a 2500K in that picture. Just wanted to point that out.

WC doesn't always mean better than air.

1. Make sure you have plenty of fans on that radiator of yours. More air moving through that radiator, the cooler the water is when it gets back to your CPU, which means more heat will be removed by the water.

2. Make sure when you put thermal paste onto the CPU that you didn't use too much.

3. Honestly, those temps are fine.

I have 2 fans on top of my 240mm radiator, but I only have room for a single 120mm below because of ram issues. If I added a single 120mm fan below, would that make the cooling unbalanced? Should I do that?
