Is there a way to UNERASE a memory card?

My 10 year old accidently erased one of his gamecube memory cards tonite
and he's devastated. Does anyone know if there's a way to unerase memory
cards?

Nope. Once the card is erased, the data's gone. Sorry. :(

Yep. But it requires the use of a Delorean...

You Might be able to use a phone booth as well. It depends on if you

Seem to recall reading once that when a console memory cards are erased, it
doesn't simply just remove filenames from a file allocation table -- but
rewrites zeros across the entire memory banks. So, unfortunetly, when data
is gone -- it is truely gone.

Happens to everyone, sooner or later. I made it years without losing a
memory card (PS1, Dreamcast, GC, PS2) and never felt the need to do backups.
That all changed last December, when Sony sent out a wonderful Christmas
present in the form of a demo disc -- that included a wonderful little bug
in the demo for "Viewtiful Joe 2" -- which nicely corrupted PS2 memory
cards. Lost all my EA (Madden, NCAA), GTA:VC, GTA:SA, Gran Turismo 3, ect.
