I3 or i5

Hello,

if I buy a laptop with an i3 now, can i upgrade to the i5 later if the i3 is too slow?

I am looking at the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420, and am trying to keep the cost low.

You should contact Lenovo with this question, it's impossible to know for certain.

Most laptops are impossible to upgrade. If you can, you are limited by a very small set of processors. As finneous suggested, contact them. However, if you do upgrade, you'll void any warranty.
