I recently built my first PC with the following hardware:
Intel i-7 2600k CPU
Asus p8p67-M Pro MOBO
16GB 1600mzh Vengence RAM
1000w 80 gold PSU
60GB SSD / 500GB HDD
64-bit Windows 7
When playing BF3, or even just browing the battlelog.net website, I keep getting BSOD errors saying, "...a clock interput was not received by a secondary processor within the allocated time interval." Intel support told me that the i-7 2600k can't run RAM at that speed (i.e., it only supports up to 1333mzh). So my question is: (1) is this correct, and (2) if so, what type of RAM should I consider (keeping in mind I know little about kit size and timing latency). Any information on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
