Hi

Looking for a trouble free NIC for ADSL in Win98 and NT 4.

Any brands and models?

(I don't think I need a $100 NIC)

really any 25 dollar netgear or 20 dollar lynksys works fine. The netgear one looks cooler though.

3com 905 not b or c. It will plug & play in windows 98se very good card if you can find it.

I use D-Link, but 3-com, linksys and netgear are all good solutions. Everything is supposed to be "simple and easy" to install, but in many cases it just isn't. Although with the NIC it shouldn't be hard.
