I am new to building pcs. I had a fx6840 that I gutted the mb, hd,and the dd out of. My mb is a H57H-AM2 .My CPU was running extreamly hot, so I bought at Rocketfish Universal CPU Cooler. While removing my old CPU cooler I unscrewed this cooler from the mb. Now the rocketfish cooler has no adaptors that will fit in these slots, do I need a CPU retention bracket to be able to mount this new CPU cooler? If so does anyone have any ones in mind?
