If GeForce GT 440 is compatible with my PC? (HP Pavillion p6240d)

Need advise on upgrading my Graphics Card. Currently im using HP Pavillion p6240d model with a 250 watts PSU. Im planning to buy a GeForce GT 440 and a 550 watts PSU. Is GeForce GT 440 will compatible for my PC?

Here are the Spec of my HP Pavillion p6240d model:

Motherboard: H-I41-uATX (Eton/EtonL)
Processor: Intel Pentium E5400 @2.7 GHz
Memory: 2gb
Video graphics: Integrated graphics using Intel GMA x4500
OS:Window 7 Home Basic (Upgraded it into Home Premium last December.)

Well im pretty much using it for gaming and video editing. Because it takes me a lot of time to render HD videos and im having screen lag since i started playing Battlefield BC2 and Battlefield P4F.

@Timop Well i think my video editing software supports CUDA. And the main reason why im thinking in uprading because of i can't play normally even on the lowest resolution because im using an Integrated Video Card.

@Dominaz1 Well i also thought about GT 240 DDR5 but they say that GT 440 is better.
