Best Video Card for 180 bucks or lower

ok so i was originally was going to get a sapphire 5850 Xtreme but since tigerdirect has decided to still not ship my video card after a month and half i want to cancel my order and be on the look out again. I want to get a video card for around 180 bucks but i don't really know which one to get so i wanted to ask you guys. I'm open for any card whether its Nvidia or ATI. Im running on a monitor at the resolution of 1440 by 900 but i will eventually upgrade to a 1080p monitor.

I think there are 6870's that you can get for under 180 after rebates. That would be better than the 6850 and probably your best option

^+1 on the 6870, it should max out games at your resolution and still produce great frame rates at 1080p.
Just make sure it fits into your case, it's quite long at 26.2 cm in length ( 10.5" )

I would also suggest O.C.ing because of your resoultion and to get the best performance from the 6870.And btw the 6870 is faster than the 5850.

Well I have a 6850, but since your going to get a 1080p monitor I'd get the 6870 at that range. Also you get a free Toital War: Shogun 2 (http://sites.amd.com/us/game/shop/Pages/Shogun-Bundle.aspx) if your interested in that. Im not sure abut Nvidia'a offereings but I know that the 6870 beats the 460 and the 560 (the 6870 Nvidia equivalent) is more expensive
