Well this will be my first post on this forums so howdy everyone! Long time reader, though!
Anyways.. I have fixed up this older laptop for a customer of mine. It sports an Intel Celeron 1.6Ghz * YIKES! *, originally 512Mb of DDr2 ram (Now 2Gb of DDr2), 120Gb 5400 RPM HDD and an Intel 950GMA. I asked the guy if he planned on doing any gaming on the laptop and confirmed to me he planned on playing some older games. IT COULD BE WORSE! So I charged him $15 more and upgraded the RAM, but I still have doubts as to whether the weak chipset would keep up with his demands.
So my question is.. Can this chipset be overclocked just for the sake of pumping out that last bit of performance?
