My current pc is :

Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 @2.0GHz
Dynet 1gb Ram DDR2 667MHz PC2-5300
Moterboard : Nvidia NF-7050 , Supports max. 4GB RAM 667MHz
Hard Drive 250GB
Zebronics ZEB-450W PSU
AMD Radeon HD6670 1GB DDR3

I'm planning to buy 1gb more ram.. Though i thought of 2gb , but 'cause of getting better performance with dual channel.. I'll buy 1gb ram... I'll buy this ram.. -

would this ram support my mobo?Would my new ram and the above specs run the latest games with medium settings, 1280x720 with 40+fps on directx 10? And what would be the performance of the above specs with windows 7 ? I'm currently running Windows XP SP3.. Cause of low ram!!

I'm pretty sure it would support that RAM :)

Regarding the performance of Win7 on your current system. I have a very slow and old laptop that runs Win7. The fact that Win7 is there doesn't affect the performance in the games.

The more RAM the better, Win7 can actually take advantage of having 32gb of RAM when you run programs like Photoshop and SOME games. For the most part 4gb should be enough. For what you are trying to do I am pretty sure 2gb will do.

I hate the be the one to say this but your PC isn't going to be playing anything new very well at all. The extra ram will be an improvement but the E2180 is no where near powerful enough to handle the newest games well even on low settings.

I saw videos on youtube playing max payne 3 on this cpu ... With medium settings and 2gb ram and windows 7... By the way, i m confused that upgrading to 1gb more and getting dual channel would be better or getting a 2gb stick, making total 3gb as a single channel would be better? I m running Windows xp sp3 x86 version.. Though my cpu is 64bit.. I guess..!!
