Most laptops have video built into the motherboard or a custom discrete solution.

Laptops are portable, but a huge disadvantage is they're kind of disposable. When the hardware no longer supports your [gaming] habit, you most likely have to go out and get a new one.

What kind of laptop are you using?

You can't upgrade the video card in the laptop, if it's a netbook, forget about games. If it's a regular laptop, try the latest drivers for it, may help. Although that may not help.

If you had a laptop with upgradable graphics you would not be asking this, you're left with either getting a new laptop or a regular PC for games.
