It won't even boot up into BIOS unless you add some memory and you won't be able to install an OS without a Harddrive. Do you have any of those parts or do you need suggestions? You're also going to need an optical drive to install the OS from.

Yeah, I could use some RAM suggestions too and I have a hard drive already :)

It's being said that you might as well get 8GBs considering the price of ram right now. I bet you could find 2x4GBs for around $50.

Can someone tell me if all the parts mentioned in the OP are compatible, and if any cooling or other accessories are recommended? I'm planning to run Battlefield 3 on it.

It will work yes.

Not a fan of OCZ PSUs. I still think 2x4GBs is a better idea. What GTX460?

Lets try this again, the good one gig or the bad one gig?

Forgive my ignorance on technical jargon, here's the link to the product:

One more big of a factor does a new computer case play? Is it possible that I use my old case with only one fan but can fit all the parts in it? (by possible I mean not break or fry the computer)

That's the good GTX460. There is a "bad" GTX460 1GB that is slower then the 768MB GTX460. You won't be able to max BF3 at 1080 with that card, but it will get really close.

I'm not sure what case you have, but I suspect it will be fine. That card should exhaust most of the hot air it makes outside of the case so that will help. Try it and see, you can always move it over if you need to.

That one is fine. Doesn't support SLI however so you might want to get a 6850 instead.
