Asrock 970 extr3me not turning on

first of all thank you for reading, I recently bought the parts I need to build a PC. I bought the asrock 970 extrem3 and I plugged the cables in. I plugged in all the cables except for the HDD LED, Power SW, Reset SW. I plugged the Power SW into the PLED 1 like the manual said and the HDD LED into a connection on the actual HDD since I couldnt find a connection to it on the mother board. I havent plugged in the Reset SW since I cant find a connection for that either. I've looked through the manual and the connectors dont say anything about hdd or reset. I plug all the other cables in to the motherboard and press the power switch nothing at all happens. Its in 115v mode and the PSU is on, but it just stays like its off. The specs: Amd fx 4100
