Need advice on a network card for a desktop?

Hey everyone. So I'm building a custom rig soon and unfortunately due to money reasons, I gotta live with the wifi around the townhouses I reside in isntead of my own internet. Parents control anything so I can't do anything.

I'd like a b/g/n card that is powerful and everything, dunno too much about networking but I want it to have b/g/n for sure, I'm pretty sure they're all cheap so can you guys please provide some well known, long-lasting, powerful, far-range cards? XD

Thanks for your time

Uh, just so I'm sure, does this give my desktop WIRELESS capabilities... I'm not asking for an expansion to plug an ethernet cable into if that's what that is

this one is a card.

A card will probably get you better range than a USB stick.

Now this is a pci-express card also so you need to make sure you have a pci-express slot. If not then you have to go PCI slot instead.

read comments, do some research, and be an informed consumer before buying.

Good luck!

Yep; You'll have to use the top slot by the sound ports. Should be good tho.
