Approximate Purchase Date: This week, Today hopefully.

Budget Range: 650 USD BEFORE rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: I will be doing light gaming in WoW and Starcraft2, and

watching videos online in addition to normal PC use

Parts Not Required: mouse, keyboard, monitor, DVD drive, harddrive ( I have: Western Digital Caviar SE16

WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s (link no longer works)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: USA

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: 1024x768 for now, but I'd like to buy a new 1920x1080 in the future

Additional Comments: I am sure on the CPU. A lot of the other parts I chose because of the combo deals and reviews. Getting a super GPU is not important today as long as I can buy a new one later.

Things like the memory, I am not sure of and I don't know if I have to make any complicated changes to use 1600MHz RAM on that MOBO

CPU/MOBO combo: Intel Core i5 2500K, MSI P67A-G45 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard (

It looks really good. That's an excellent build, though once you upgrade to 1920x1080. Be aware that build as good as the CPU is. Your GPU is just going to crumble under that resolution. Depending on the graphics of course.

Get a smaller PSU, those games will never take advantage of 2 cards. The reason, many benches have shown that dual card are just not that great in WoW and SC2. So no reason to prepare for CF. With that said.

That would save you $40.
