Motherboard Burnt chip need identifying

Help. i have an ECS GF8100VM-M5 and there appears to be a burnt chip by the ide slots. i can see writing on the board which says R432 so i think it might be a resistor type chip but i cant be sure. i have close ups to look at. any ideas on solutions/replacements.

I think you will find that most of the people in here aren't so much electrical engineers into doing soldering work on motherboards.

Instead, I think you will find that most here would just tell you to replace the whole board, preferably not with one made by ECS and others like MSI which have chips fail often.

If you are intent on doing the chip replacement with the current board, assistance from those here might take a pretty long time unless you get lucky.

-i c. The ECS board is a friends. I wouldn't go near an ECS mobo in a million years they're ***.! lol
