HELP Motherboard/ram

Ive got an asus rampage 2 gene motherboard and 6gig of ocz triple channel ram on windows 7 64bit. Sometimes it pickets up 4gig and others its 6gig but when it picks up 4gig it shows on CPU-Z its got 6gig... Any ideas?

It looks like it sees 6GB of RAM. By Resource Manager I meant the one accessed by either going through the Program Manager or doing a find in Win7 for Resource Monitor.

Hmm thats odd. Windows can only detect 4GB while CPU-Z detects all 6GB. I would go into your BIOs and see how much the motherboard detects. It could be possible that dual channel support is active and not triple channel support.

When i restart my pc its diffrent i could restart it 5 times it would say 4gig and on the 6th restart it would say 6gig
