Blue screen problem

the specs are pentium d 3.00ghz
2gb ddr2 ram
gigabyte 945gzm-s2
xfx 9500gt
500gb seagate hdd
delta 350w psu.
at some times when the computer is booted the blue screen occurs saying some critical error the system restarts itself and after booting into the os ,a windows is displayed showing that windows has recovered from a serious error..this problem occurs 6-7 in a month what is the reason..

There could be a conflict somewhere either hardware or software based , are all the drivers up to date , are all the windows updates installed , have there been any hardware changes lately and what version of windows are you running ?
From the looks of your components the computer is quite old and there could very well be some conflicts somewhere because of this.

software are upto date but os i not ..there is no hardware changes except i added a graphic card before 5 months
