Graphics card and Bottleneck Question.

Mobo:

RAM: 4GB DDR3(2*2GB)[Corsair XMS3]

GPU: Saphire ATI Raedon HD 6950 1GB[Cayman Pro]

Monitor: LG2040T [20'']

SMPS: Corsair TX750 Watts

I have planned this specs for my new PC. My main focus is in Gaming.
You guys may think why am going with a 1600*900 display, the reason is that am going to max out all new games upto next 2 years with no compromising on the AA, AF, Tesselation, Dx11 and any other settings.

The main question now is, Will the Radeon 6950 be bottlecked by the Phenom X4 955?

This is a little off topic from the question you have asked, but why do you choose the AMD over the new intel CPUs? I would really suggest going with a Core i5 2500k on a new gaming build.

Thats only due to my low budget and the i5 2500k just exceeds my budget.

At the low resolution the 955 will bottleneck the 6950 but also at that resolution the 6950 is overkill so even held back you should ber able to max all games and get as many FPS your monitor can display.

my budget is about Rs23,000 in INR, which i think will be difficult to be understood by you. Hence, i should say that the overall budget of The CPU and GPU should be same to the Bucks required to buy the Phenom X4 955 & the Radeon 6950.
