First Build Imput needed

Hello everyone

This would be my first attempt at building a computer and am very nervous about it. I am looking to spend no more then 800 and closer to 700 would be best. I use my computer to surf, photos, music, and have started doing some video edit on it. Not really into games but might at some point. What I have come up with so far is below but would like any suppestions and I would like to know if what I have picked would all work togehter.

Approximate Purchase Date:(e.g.: this week (the closer the better))

Budget Range:(e.g.: 600-800)Before / After Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important:(e.g.: photos, gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies)

Parts Not Required: case, mobo, memory, psu, hard drive, card reader, dvd. Maybe sound and video card depending on price

Preferred Website(s) for Parts open to anything

Country of Origin: USA Illinois/WI

Parts Preferences:by brand or type Whatever as long as they are good

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution Not sure would like to continue using my HP x22 LCD until I can buy something better but this works fine

Additional Comments: Looking to have something that looks a little different then the sfuff sold off the shelf

This is what I have in mind for now, but I am very open to bringing down the cost.

  1. Check out my $550 build, just get the i5 2400 and the GTX 560 instead. That should end up totaling to $635.
