hi, im looking into buying some components for a new pc after my old laptop died. i want to get some of my questions answered and some constructive criticism on my selections. I want to be able to use it for gaming and in the future, some light to mid OCing.

Approximate Purchase Date: By the end of September

Budget Range: 600-800 before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, internet

Parts Not Required: Monitor (got an Asus 23.6¨inch), mouse, keyboard. PS. Can some give opinions on gaming headsets if possible

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: microcenter.com,newegg.com

Country of Origin: New York, USA

Parts Preferences: I want a build around the 2500k,P67,and Nvidia GFX cards but if i can be convinced otherwise, i can always change a few things

Overclocking: yes, possible in the future

SLI or Crossfire: ill do so when games become more demanding

Monitor Resolution: 1900x1080 and 1280x720

Additional Comments: well this is what i got in my mind right now

I would consider a different board, the reviews on Newegg are well below the average.

GTX460? Why not something in the GTX5xx series that's around the same price? I suggest GTX560 or 560ti.

The ram you chose is 1.65v, no good for 2500K. You need 1.5v or less memory.

I'd recommend a 700w psu with the GTX560's in SLI. 750w with the GTX560ti's in SLI. I'm talking about quality psu's, not overated junk. Antec, Corsair, XFX are some of the most reliable and most available. Of course I've taken overclocking into consideration already.

You really should come back when your ready to buy. Most of us know what the current deals are any listing any of the best deals right now would just be a waste of time.
