Acer 5735 wireless connection vista

Hello,i have recently installed a new talktalk modem. While the desktop pc is connected wirelessly to the internet, i can't connect the laptop. Talktalk advise that the laptop is not wireless enabled for the new modem...can anybody help please?

If the laptop is fairly recent it probably has wireless. but perhaps its driver is not installed or the wireless is not turned on.

Suggest you check the manual for the laptop and Windows Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager.

If it has no wireless you can add this with a USB or a PCMCIA wireless adapter.
