Looking at a budget gaming rig for $500
already have:

- Monitor
- Keyboard/Mouse
- GFX Card - ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2

Looking for at least 8gb Ram and a PSU that will run the card and a case that fits the card..
From this preferred site PC Case Gear as i can pick up from them so no delivery.

Thanks

OK But alot of Australian stores sell them ALOT more expensive then new egg and some products i cant even find..

Also do you think 500w PSU will be sufficient power to run the HD 4870 X2?

A quality modern PSU has full range active PFC (no little voltage switch!), and some level of 80+ certification for efficiency. Seasonic, Antec, Corsair, XFX, and Enermax/LEPA are among the better brands.
Five hundred Watts should be sufficient, remember this will be a quality unit actually capable of that output, day in and day out, vs. a liar-labeled unit like Logisys or Diablotec (or some Coolermaster) which may barely be good for 1/2 to 2/3 of its label.
