ASRock970extrem3 Question

Does the ASRock970extreme3 can make FX8120 run by using default bios? It says it's an AM3+ motherboard ready but I would like to be 100% sure about this because I don't have any older AMD chip to use in order to update bios or whatever. Lastly, will it support this kind of memory, Integral Value 4GB DDR3 PC3-10600 CL9 (IN3T4GNZBII) ? . I know it isn't the best memory but one friend of mine gave me this and I will buy soon another stick but at the moment I have to use this for some weeks.. Thanks in advance
