can you please tell me if theres a place to get decent instructions on how to turn an xbox into a pc by installing An OS like windows 7 on it . it doesnt need to play pc games it just needs to be able to run basic programs,browse the internet and of course play xbox games. it also needs to have good airflow i dont care weather its in a pc case or an xbox case.

The only ones I know of is this one custom computer case that had both an xbox 360 and a pc inside together and you could play one or the other. Anything other than that is impossible on the 360 since the whole Jtag exploit got patched. I would personally wait for windows 8 where its rumored that it will be able to play xbox 360 games on the pc.

its on the old xbox 360 (2006) and ive seen 3 people do it on youtube . do you have a link or something for that case.

I have also heard of this being done with the PS3. I am sure the performance is not the same as a PC's.

It is indeed possible, however it would take forever to do so might as well just have one or the other.
