$1800 Build for BF3 and other games coming out next year. It most likely will not get built until the end of the year, so hopefully prices go down. I plan on adding some more G-skill ram and another ASUS Matrix GTX 580 card in the future.
I am trying to decide if I should O.C. or not right off the bat or wait until I need to. I will also be running two Asus 24" wide screens, both at 1080 with and additional TV later on. More goodies on top of that. Let me know what you think.

That seems like a great build but i don't understand why you need a 1200 watt power supply? Your current system and i added in another 580gtx (so SLI) only pulls 638 watts at stock power... If i was you i would get an 850 watt psu and save money now and also in the long term...

To do you own calculations go to http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

BTW i have a Corsair AX750 and love it... No problems with it what so ever

Looks a very solid build, however if this build is for gaming and needs SLI potential you could save yourself ALOT of money by going with something like:

i5-2500k CPU
Asus P8Z68-v PRO motherboard or Gigabyte equivalent

Since you have a fairly sizeable budget it might be worth considering lower Latency RAM (CL7/CL8) or higher OC'd RAM (1866) although generally the cost vs. performance is considered not to be worth it.

EDIT - As to the above comment, id recommend more than 850w for SLI 580s. 900w minimum, 1000w ideally.

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:
GeForce GTX 580
On your average system the card requires you to have a 650 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 580 in SLI
A second card requires you to add another 250 Watts. You need a 900+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system (1 KiloWatt recommended if you plan on any overclocking).

your processor and motherboard choices are overkills and they definitely won't give the best performance / price.
go with adrianperry's suggestion and use the i5-2500k instead.
also you can use a pair of gtx 560Tis which perform better for less money.
use the money saved from these and a lower rating power supply for an SSD instead.

True, but then your limiting future upgrades. Having a single GTX 580 now will destroy all current games in maxed settings and with the option to add another 580 in SLI in the future will drastically increase the "life-span" and graphical potential of the build. If you buy SLI 560Ti's now, when you need to upgrade you'll have to buy 2 new cards.

NOTE: If you do prefer the idea of SLI 560Ti's - as 00derek00 said, you could get away with a much less powerful PSU (a good 750w unit would be plenty)

Flihiloone- I understand that that is a little bit of overkill, but I plan on SLIing later on. Although, that still will probably to much power. Thanks for the URL, I have been searching for something for quite some time that does that very thing.

AdrianPerry- That’s some very solid advice, I am unfamiliar with Guru 3d, but I will check it out. I am wondering why I would go with an i5 and that ASUS mobo? More specifically the mobo. I am not as knowledgeable as all of you so please let me know what you know, I like saving $$ . Your very right about the RAM too, I will be looking for something a little better than that.

Thank all of you for your input, it is much appreciated.

switch that 2600k to a 2500k you will see no difference in fps becuase games cant take advantage of hyperthreading. no ssd??? or cpu cooler?
