I'd get the 2500K instead. $10 lets you overclock it. Its a beast when overclocked to like 4.5Ghz. It'll beat every desktop processor on earth then. :)

I'd get a ASRock Z68 Gen3 Extreme3 board because of PCIe 3.0 slots and Ivy Bridge compatibility.

RAM is fine.

Better get an EVGA SuperClocked GTX 560Ti.

PSU : Corsair CX500 (if single card), TX750 (if SLI)

Hard Drive : Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - Cheaper, Faster, Quiter.

That can maxx out any of the current games at 1920x1080. (not sure about BF3) Whats your monitor's resolution btw?

Also, Don't you live in India? You're gonna buy that Win7?

008Rohit, Does 2500k clock 4.5Ghz only on air? coz I'm not obsessed with overclocking
and most probably i won't be OCing any time soon. My monitor's rez is 1440x900.
yep I live in India and i'm planning to buy all the parts online through tigerdirect.com
But Thanx for your advice. I appreciate that.

That clocks 4Ghz and maybe 4.2 with air cooling. (Stock HSF) 4.5Ghz if a Hyper 212+ is fitted and 5Ghz with an water cooling kit.

If you don't plan to overclock, your best bet would be i5 2400 + any H67 board.

Your build will max out any game at highest details at that resolution.
