Ati radeon hd 4200 integrated graphics screen resolutions

Hi:
I have a HP p6710f desktop computer.
It has an on board video card, ATI Radeon HD4200 AMD Chipset 785
I am using a Samsung 20 inch monitor that works best at 1440 by 900 resolotion
It has the drivers that came with the computer.
Is there anyway that I can get 1440 by 900 resolution from this on board video graphics card.
It does not support this resolution.
Do I need to install a new video driver?
Do I need a new graphics card?
by the way the power supply is only 250 watts.
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.
Will a 256 mb card work?
Thank You..

  1. I would think the HD 4200 would support 1440x900. Go to HP's website and look for a driver update for your integrated graphics. If HP doesn't have an update, try AMD's website.
