Please give me some tips and rate my PC parts list so far. First build

Hello, I'm going to be building a PC soon. This is my first build so anything could go wrong, but I've read a LOT on this stuff so I pretty much know what I'm getting myself into :D. Anyways I'd just like a couple of you Pro's to tell me a thing or two about the parts I have listed now -will they be compatible, and whatnot. And also tell me if I'm leaving any parts out (cables) - I'm sure I am. Parts list:

Case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146066
NZXT Phantom, already purchased and is sitting beside me in original packaging as I type.

Motherboard- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128519
GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD

CPU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

PSU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817190028
XION XON-700P12F High Performance 700W Power Supply

Memory- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314#top
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB Desktop Memory, probably choose this one as the other one I wanted ran out of stock =[

HDD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148697
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

OS- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit - OEM

Cables for HDD as it is a bare drive- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812189193

CD Drive- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136216
LG SuperMulti Drive Black SATA Model GH22NS50 Bulk - OEM

GFX Card- I've purchased one a while back (GTS 450) but it didnt work with my (current) stock HP m8400f which led me to wanting to build my own PC. So this will be the GFX card I'm using.

Sound Card- Didn't plan on getting one because I wont be using speakers (headset for me :D) And I read that its not needed as most motherboards already have integrated sound...?

Well that's about all that I can think that I'll really need. Maybe a CPU fan? Please comment I'll be able to respond quickly, as I'm always up. So comment and subscribe to my channel lol wait this isn't YouTube. :D

All good choices , except possibly the power supply . Its not a brand Im familiar with so I googled it . I didnt find much information at all which Im going to assume is a bad sign , but reading the newegg specs ....
..... avoid this psu . It does not have "active pcf" which is electronic control of the voltages . Its an older cheaper design .

This is way better , from a quality manufacturer and will easily run your computer

    Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.3
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371031

and is cheaper thanks to the rebate

You wont need SATA cables for your hard drive . There will be two , or more , in the motherboard box

Onboard sound is fine for everyone except top end audiophiles . That mb has a very good audio
  2. Wow thanks. Yeah i kinda just chose a psu didnt look much in to them. Ive heard of the antec brand and will go with the one you provided! Thanks again hope this goes well
  3. AMD Phenom II X6 1055t</a> $149.99*only $20 more, and is a better CPU

  4. Hmm ok thanks ill look into that one, already bought the mobo its currently being shipped but ill be purchasin a cpu after i inspect it so thanks
