Hello,
I have a Dell Dimension E520 that I want to install Ubuntu 10.10 O/S.
The computer has a Ati graphics card installed.
Will Ubuntu automatically recognise the card, or will I have to download drivers for the card?

.

Additional Details
My card is ATI Radeon X1300Pro Graphics, 256m

Yep, it will. AFAIK the R500's are discontinued from the main BLOB driver in Linux, so you'll be using the open source one, or use the old fglrx driver.

But why going for the 10.10 instead of the LTS 10.04? I'm curious on that one :o

Cheers!
