Hello all. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'm thinking about buying a new graphics card to replace my HP machine's integrated card. Nothing too fancy or expensive, I just want to get decent performance for games like Starcraft 2, Left 4 Dead, etc.

Right now I've got an Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset video card, 2 gigs of ram, dualCore Pentium E5300, 2600 MHz running on Vista.

I'm looking at this card: XFX HD-557X-ZHL2 Radeon HD 5570 DDR3

I'm told I would need a new power supply (current one is only 250 watts). Looking at this one: Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2 Builder Series™ CX600 Power Supply - 600W

Do you guys think this would work out? And how can I tell if the components would fit inside my case?

SC2 is a very CPU demanding game and a Core2Duo @ 2.6ghz won't get you to play on high settings but i'm sure you can manage medium, same goes for L4D.

You actually won't need to upgrade your PSU if you choose to go with the 5570.The 5570 doesn't use a lot of power so your fine, espically when pared with a Core2Duo both of them combined is only like 150watts.

The 5570 is a very small card and you shouldn't have any problems getting it to fit.As for the PSU their are those that are smaller than others, going with a lower wattage PSU will almost gurantee a smaller size. But since you don't need to upgrade your PSU you shouldn't worry about getting a PSU to fit.
