Hello,
I have a new build with on-board graphics (GIGABITE GA880GA-UD3H) would I gain anything by upgrading the graphics card to PCI, I have a dual graphics card from my old Dell system (nVidia, GeForce 6800 PCI-E x16, 256MB) could I just use this?
you can use it but i don't know if it will be faster than your on board graphic since i can't find more info about your on board gpu. but if you happen to know about it you can look here for gpu comparison:

Thanks:
These old boards look like they have out lived their technology, guess I'll look into upgrading to a newer technology. Not sure what the on-board graphics is NorthBridge AMD880?
i believe you can check it via device manager or by opening CCC. have already look around gigabyte site bu i found nothing about it. honestly i don't really familiar with AMD boards since i never use AMD proc before
