GeForce 2 MX Trouble

Hello,

I'm currently having severe trouble with my new graphics card, a Creative GeForce 2 MX. I'm running windows 2000 and using a Gigabyte ATX mobo.

The problem is that when i log into windows, sometimes the system crashes completely (which is very unusual for win2k). Whenever i do anything vaguely 3D - like Q3, UT etc then the system always crashes the instant it goes to fullscreen. I have tried the default drivers, 5.22, 6.31 to no avail. Can anyone help me with this problem please?

Don't know if you're using a Via chipset on your board, but if you are then ensure you installed the latest Via 4-in-1 drivers. This seems to resolve a lot of hardware issues and you'll probably see a bunch of new devices pop up next time you reboot.
