I'm planning out my first build and looking for some opinions. Looking to have a decent gaming rig with windows on one side, and to build up a hackintosh on the other side. I'm planning to go with Z68, try my hand at OCing the i5 2500k, and going with SLI for gpu's. It's a bit ambitious for my first build, but I think this all sounds do-able for myself. Looking for advice on parts / compatibility / any other commentary. Thanks

Currently the total cost is under $1500, which was my main goal, but any advice on cheaper but still reliable parts to save some green would be appreciated as well.

did you already check on the net whether the parts will be compatible with mac OSX? parts like the mobo and CPU have to be very specific in order to get OSX to install on a non-apple system?

the CPU is compatible, as is the Motherboard and video card, according to what I've researched online from tonymacx86
