I am going to be building a computer and have been trying to find out all that I can. I am looking at memory right now @crucial and besides the price differnce, what is the main difference between 2 and 3 cas. I am going to be running an AMD proccesor. Not sure on the MB yet. Thanks.

cas3 means ram is cycled every 3 cpu cycles
cas2 is every 2 cycles
(i think)

if you can afford it, i'd go with the cas2, although it depends on what kinda stuff you are doing....

In short, CAS2 has a lower latency and is faster.
