How can I tell if my integrated ethernet port is dead?

Hey,
recently, I started having problems with the ethernet on my home PC. The strange thing is though, that if I run the same cable to a different computer, it works fine, as well as the wireless internet throughout my house, so I know it isn't a problem witht the router, or cable. That makes me think that the only thing that could be wrong is the actual port on my computer. Is there any way that I can tell for sure?
