Is it possible for a case to fug the rest of the parts of a PC, like Mobo, proc, ram, videocard, etc.

I ask because last week, my pc got fried and as of yet I have not determined wheter it was the PSU or the mobo's fault, now I have
new parts

-mobo asrock
-proc AM3
-RAM corsair ddr3
-Hard Drive barracuda
-PSU Antec Green 650
but I'm planing on reusing my old case, it's a Thermaltake armor Jr, but I'm not sure if it will cause any kind of problems once I try to place the new hardware inside, thanks for your answers people. :bounce:

Note: I know the case was not the problem because I have been using this computer since september 2009 without any problems to speak of, but last week something happened and I'm not sure what, and I have to blame my 3 years old ULTRA psu, my old gigabyte 775 mobo and my wife's dog.

It's only possible if you messed up installing the motherboard and shorted it out.
