Hello,

I just recently purchased an AMD FX-4170 4.2GHz Quad-Core Socket AM3+ CPU, and found out that it does not work with my current motherboard. I'm looking for suggestions that will work with my set up and leave room for potential upgrades. I'm hoping for the $150 range, but I can spend up to $250 if it's necessary. Thanks!

Motherboard - ASROCK N68-VS3 UCC, uATX (old) <- This is what I need suggestions on.

Graphic Card - Gigabyte GTX 560 TI

Power supply - CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High

Case - NZXT Source 210 Black

CPU - AMD Athlon II x4 640 (3.0G/2M) (Old) <- Want to replace with AMD FX-4170

DVDRW - Lite-on 24x DVDRW

Hard Drive - Seagate 1TB 32MB Sata III

12 in 1 Card Reader- no brand name

Memory - Kingston 4GB DDR3-1333 (x2)

Thanks again!

I've tried 2 crosshair V's,had issues with both(1 DOA,the other BSOD constantly),went to the sabertooth 990FX,been rock solid!Supports SLI and Crossfire.
Liked the sabertooth so much,I bought a 2nd for my backup rig.
