Hi, I have a 4GB 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance stick in my ASRock 970 Extreme3 Motherboard, in the bios it is set to run at 1600Mhz however in CpuZ it says it is only 800Mhz???
That's totaly ok and nothing to worry about! Tools like CpuZ display the real frequency. The 1600Mhz is made out of transferring data on the rising and falling edges of the bus clock signal and only a theoretical number: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM

I just did a benchmark test, and I have got the same results as I did on my old shitty laptop DDR2 800Mhz RAM. Theres definitely something not right here
