I recently build a computer and i been using it for 3-4 weeks. On temp core program the temp was usually 20-30 and now it's 30-40. Is this normal?

  1. It's ok for a change in temps. Sometimes it's only a change of seasons when your room temp rises. Your cpu can run up to about 65c without any damage. I hate fan noise, so I'll put up with higher temps, since I change my cpu about once every two years it doesn't matter.
  2. Probably.

oh ok thanks for the information.
  4. You can worry if the CPU reaches into the 70c region but will be ok to the 80c then shut off computer (these are intel sandy bridge based numbers)
