Hello, I am troubleshooting a problem I have with installing an Nvidia 8400 GS pci-e card on an Asus A8AE-LE board. It works until I install the drivers and have to reboot then my display is f*&*'d, I have tried numerous versions of the proper driver and they all have the same effect. The card I removed was an ATI Raedon X550 pci-e. I removed-uninstalled all the drivers for it, but there is still an ATI SMBus. Does that have to be removed or replaced with something to accomodate Nvidia.Or did I miss something else,My PSU is only 380 watts but the new card doesn't need additional power plugged directly into it so I assume it would be enough.any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

After deleting the ATI drivers then run this to get rid off remains of the ATI GPU drivers then install the nvidia drivers. If this does not work the possibility is that you have a bad card.
