Yesterday my desktop computer, 3 years old, started having an odd clicking sound when (what I think) it has to work on new visual data; it only clicks when I scroll a web page, open a new window, or constantly when playing a game (screen refreshes constantly).

I have stopped every fan and the clicking noise persists, I also know it is not any of the HDDs or trays.

If anyone has any idea what could be causing it I would be very appreciative.

Thank you.

I have determined it is one of the caps on the GPU, any suggestions on how to fix this?

time to use the warranty for the graphic card , r u sure its not the power supply. the clicking sound from psu and occasional shutdowns mean psu is on the death bed.
